The Prada Group and Ermenegildo Zegna Group have acquired a majority shareholding in Italian company Filati Biagioli Modesto S.p.A.., which produces cashmere.

PradaグループとErmenegildo Zegnaグループがカシミアなどの貴重なファブリックを製造するFilati Biagioli Modestoの株式を大量に取得したことを明らかにした。それぞれが40%を獲得、創業したBiagioli一族が15%、Loro Pianaが5%を保持する。

今回の株式取得にあたり、会長のZegna氏がFilati Biagioli Modestoの会長に就任、同社のオーナーであるFranca Biagioli氏とPradaグループ最高責任者Patrizio Bertelliは、取締役に加わる。

 

The Prada Group and Ermenegildo Zegna Group have acquired a majority shareholding in Italian company Filati Biagioli Modesto S.p.A.., which produces cashmere.

Both brands will each own 40% of Filati Biagioli Modesto, while the Biagioli family will get 15%. The 5% remaining will be owned by Renato Cotto.

PRADA Chief Executive Officer Patrizio Bertelli will join the board of Filati Biagioli Modesto S.p.A., while Zegna CEO Gildo Zegna, , becomes chairman of the company.
