昨年12月に続く最新コレクションでは、2000年代のOG BAPEの系譜を辿りながら、ブランドのルーツであるHIP HOPカルチャーをインスピレーションにアイテムを製作。同時に、COMME des GARCONS、BAPE®︎のアイコンを惜しみなく配置することで、東京をオリジンとする両者のストリートイズムを表現。

ストライプシャツには、COMME des GARCONSのロゴとAPE HEADをムラのある手刷りの質感で表現。また、カレッジ調のデザインを裏からプリントしたTシャツ、両ブランドのロゴの向きを反転させたデニムパンツやフットボールシャツなど、シンプルかつ巧妙な視覚的ギミックが随所に落とし込まれています。加えて、COMME des GARCONSのアーカイブにオマージュした“COMME des GARCONS BAPE”のゴールドジュエリーグラフィックもインパクト抜群の仕上がりとなっている。

本コレクションは、2022年4月29日(金)より「BAPE STORE®コムデギャルソン大阪」にて発売。

For the latest collection, which follows last December, the brand traces the lineage of OG BAPE®︎ from the 2000s, while creating items inspired by the brand’s roots in HIP HOP culture. At the same time, the icons of COMME des GARCONS and BAPE®︎ are generously placed to express the street-ism of both brands with their origins in Tokyo.

The striped shirt features the COMME des GARCONS logo and the APE HEAD in an uneven hand-printed texture. Simple yet clever visual gimmicks are incorporated throughout, such as T-shirts with college-style designs printed from the back, denim pants and football shirts with the logos of the two brands reversed. In addition, the “COMME des GARCONS BAPE” gold jewelry graphic, which pays homage to the COMME des GARCONS archives, has a great impact.

This collection will be available at “BAPE STORE® COMME des GARCONS Osaka” from Friday, April 29, 2022.
